About

Tanya Lynn Story
Born: Los Angeles, California
Lives & Works: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Tanya Story is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans more than three decades. Beginning with figurative sculpture, she developed a hands-on approach to mold-making and expanded into materials including latex, steel, bone, wood, hair, ash, copper, and paper. Her work explores the human experience, embodiment, transformation, and our relationship to the natural and spiritual worlds.
Her work has been exhibited in California and Santa Fe and includes large-scale collaborative installations for Burning Man and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Through sculpture, Story creates spaces for reflection, storytelling, and connection while honoring personal experience and ancestral memory.
